Change is something that everyone in the world loves and appreciate. The world together with Technology always make way to new improvements. People who are involved into these changes also has to come with quick adaptation to the surrounding environment. But it is somehow hard to get out of your comfort zone and face the reality.
When i began my journey to the new world, i was very excited and didn’t want to look backward. Saying goodbye have been always a sad thing for me but that’s a way to say Hello to the new life that I’m about to live. That was the spirit to start a new life without parents.
It was time for me to grow up.
Time for me to make some new friends.
Time for me to take big responsibility.
Time for me to take care of myself.
There were so much to develop in me in order to survive in this new world.
I was not afraid, instead I head on challenges and overcome them.
I started to build strong friendship.
But things have to change
There is a famous quote saying that “Everyone must goes on their life”
And I am no exception, I have to leave and continue my life elsewhere
When its time to say Goodbye to the things I contributed.
To the things i would love to stay for.
To the people that i care the most.
It’s almost hard to say leave all this behind.
That’s why I would like to open my heart and shout
To all my friends who i care the most….
We will meet again some day.
I’m really blessed to get many friends by my side
Special people always deserves special thanks. Having a whole bunch of friends celebrating birthdays or Farewell really makes you feel special. And not everyone has the opportunity to feel like such. Only thanks for the farewell organized yesterday is really not enough, all of the people concerned have a part to play in my life since I placed a step in Brisbane. I decided to write a small notes for you all. ( I hope i didn’t miss anyway.) There I go…
First, I would like to start from Bryan Tan, a friend of my friend, the funny thing is that we were destined to meet one day in Brisbane. Believe it or not, we kept on encountering each other without noticing. He has a golden heart for his friends around. Very gentle to Girls specially, an example of a gentleman with his own tricks and jokes to impress his friends. Really a big thanks to God who put you on this earth.
Next would be Eugene, a very funny doctor. Everyone would be surprised to see that a professional doctor like him playing games like D.O.T.A. with his friends. Well.. as for all of us, it doesn’t really matter because it is what we called “Bonding session”. This is where we really have the connection and willing to get together. I really enjoying teasing him and have some none-related or no-purpose discussion with him.
Dexter, My shepherd, my mentor, my friend, he is always the one who pull me into the right track when i have issues with friends, family or anything. Also a doctor who play D.O.T.A. He is eventually a good listener and a good leader who just accepted to take over a new group of church people. He has the gift to encourage people around him with words of wisdom and truth. His girlfriend, Joyce is lucky to have him though and vise-versa. Although I do not know his girl very well, I do realize that she is very independent in terms of decisions and that’s what i really admire in a girl’s character.
Esther and Wen Huey. I’m very happy when you both are together. Seriously Esther, she has the heart to listen and care for her friends. Wen huey, a girl of compassion and love, she knows how to appreciate the friendship she has. This two characteristic enables both of them, watch each others back. “Simple is a blessing” I will remember these words, Thanks Wen Huey. There were some people who told me that I’m too simple in terms of fashion-like. But yes, I really do not care as I like to take things easy for I have better things to do than like spending hours in the bathroom styling my hair. I hope that one day we can finally have our mini dinner like you both planned for me.
Gabriel, our great leader, though he looks young, he is very mature physically, mentally and spiritually. Though all I have seen the entire year, I have never seen someone so committed and self sacrificed to the people he loves.
I just know Ming Jun for 6months and that’s enough to say that he is a very nice guy who is always thankful of what he receives and what he has to offer. For anything wrong he is always ready to help and fixed it.
Vivian, Grace, Joyce and Susan , the only girls in UQ8 who are from Taiwan. It is a place that i really want to go and visit one day. Having them as a good friend opens another door for me to travel to. I am very glad to know them and I was at first really impressed by their generosity and the willing to give to people without expecting anything in return.
Chee, I will never forget the night we all spent time together as lifegroup playing “Heart Attack” at Jason’s place. Seriously, you are the only one I’d like to be beside when playing this game… haha. Jiarong, a good friend indeed, I think God has planned we meet in one way or another. If I remember well, when he came to Australia, there was a guy who didn’t have a place to stay, my friend asked me if i can accommodate a guy in my room. Unfortunately I rejected as I didn’t know you and I was scared of my roommate’s reaction. Well.. eventually we met and became good friends. I wish we can spend more time together.
And finally if one day, Chia Huey you get to read this.. I really wish we could spend more time together and know you more. You are very special to me and I will look forward to meet you one day…
Not forgetting other friends such as Cintia, Jeremy, Venurs, Eugene, Cody, Irene, May yan, Veon and Anh (sorry if I am leaving some names behind, there are so much that I just cannot make a list.) You are the best!;)
I’m writing all this because i saw many things that had been deceiving to me and will deceive you one day too. Do not be discourage by them. Think of a solution before acting. Be smart. Be a man!
